Katrina & Andrew were married back in May this year, and I am finally blogging this wedding for you all to see! What an amazing day! Katrina and Andrew got ready in neighbouring hotel rooms (no peeking!), with the girls wanting to know what the boys had been doing, as they sounded like they'd been having all of the fun!
After a beautiful ceremony at Markovina, we enjoyed a low light location shoot, aided by portable lights from Jared Brandon Productions, who were the videographers on the day (View Katrina & Andrew's wedding video)
At the reception we feasted on a gorgeous buffet style dinner, that is served on platters to your table, just like a family Christmas dinner, so you can choose what you want, but don't have to get up or wait in line! Awesome!
Beautiful, heartfelt speeches were followed by incredible dance performances put on by friends and family. All in all, an amazing day to celebrate an equally amazing couple.
Thanks Katrina and Andrew for having us there to document your wedding day, we had a blast!

Josie and Danny are getting married in December this year, and we met up with them for the engagement portrait on a sunny/rainy Saturday this month. Luckily the sun was shining for the whole shoot, and only started to rain as we were driving home!
We cruised around gorgeous Cornwall Park and enjoyed the beautiful spring flowers that were starting to bloom.

We met up with Simon and Heidi, who are engaged to be married this January. Simon and I have been family friends since our Mum's became friends when we were in kindy, so i'm really looking forward to photographing their wedding, it's going to be awesome!
We had a great time enjoying coffee and lunch, and taking some fun photos.

Stephanie & Tony were married on a gorgeous winter's day in August at Gracehill Estate in Kumeu. They exchanged vows in the late afternoon sun, and celebrated with laughter, food and a bit of Iraqi cultural dancing added in! Tony's family sure know how to party!
The details of the wedding were perfectly planned, with a gorgeous vintage feel, complete with a lolly table for the guests to help themselves to and enjoy whilst listening to the beautiful speeches.

The Lauren + Delwyn Project at the 2011 NZIPP Iris Awards

Last Thursday we packed the car with far too much luggage, and headed off on a roadtrip to Vegas. Roto-vegas to be precise.

We enjoyed the weekend at the annual NZIPP Iris awards (visit www.nzipp.org.nz), hanging out with other photographers and suppliers in the industry, watching the judging, listening to the inspiring seminars, and eating alot of chocolate.

We headed home with brains overflowing with ideas... oh and two Bronzes! Not bad, considering we've never entered before, and we were also pleased that these are actual real wedding photos that our clients have received. Nothing extra done to them except a quick run over of the healing tool to take shine off skin, and dirt/water spots off clothing)

Tania and Andrew were married on a blissfully sunny day at the start of April. We arrived to a very excited yet calm brides home, where Tania was receiving the final touches to her makeup. After borrowing the neighbours vine covered fence, we headed to the church, where a very nervous Andrew was awaiting. The ceremony was just perfect, and friends and family congratulated the happy couple, before we headed off to enjoy the location and a yummy picnic at the Girl Guide Camp Rutherford. What a stunning location, fields, boardwalks, beach, what more could you want?

Tania and Andrew finished off their day with a gorgeous afternoon tea function for family and friends at Fisher House.

Thank you Tania and Andrew for inviting us to document your special day, it was truly amazing, you two are awesome!

Haylee and Dylan were married on a gorgeously overcast day at the end of March at Markovina in Kumeu. The ceremony was just gorgeous, and all of the details were just perfect!

During the reception we were entertained with singing from their family, and the groom himself, as well as a Cook Island dance group! SO AMAZING!
